To forget the previous GatorLink password in your Windows 10 network configuration please follow the follow steps:
1. On the keyboard press
Windows key + i
2. Click on "
Network & Internet
" in the Windows Settings box
3. Click on
4. Click on "
Manage known networks
5. Click on "
" in the list
6. Click on "
After forgetting the previous network settings for "uf" a new configuration could be setup with getonline.ufl.edu auto configuration wizard.
These steps might look different on your computer but the generally it's very similar to setup network by first connecting to wifi setup SSID. Currently this setup network is named "ufinfo"
Step 1: Click on Network Icon that shows wifi connections available in the bottom right corner of the taskbar
Step 2: Select on "
Step 3: Click on the "Connect" button
Step 4: A captive window then pops up that says "Welcome to the UF wireless network". Click on "
" button. [Should your computer not allows pop-ups please open an internet browser application and go to the address: getonline.ufl.edu where you could click on "Auto Configuration" button.]
Step 5: Check the box "I accept the terms of Acceptable Use Policy"
Step 6: Click on the "
Step 7: Under Microsoft Windows section, click on "NetworkWizardLoader.exe"
Step 8: Click on "
" when the download finish
Step 9: Click on "
Step 10: In the Cloudpath Window fills in your GatorLink Username [this format has no @ufl.edu and is all in lower-case]
Step 11: Fills in your GatorLink Password [it's case-sensitive]
Step 12: Click on "
Step 13: Allows the wizard to run to the end and click "
". You could exit out of the wizard and enjoy the internet!
