Accessing Exchange Online with "thick" clients installed on your PC or Mac

Exchange Online is designed to work well with your existing installations of Micrsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2011 (Mac) or 2013.  You can use both Outlook and Lync with your Office 365 account. You can also open, save and share your work form Word, Excel, OneNote, and other installed Office software to your Office 365 SkyDrive Pro storage space.

Configuring your full-featured Outlook client to work with Office 365 is easy - all you'll need is your email address and your Gatorlink password.  For help setting up Outlook see the Microsoft Help document on this topic.

While the Office 365 web application provides some basic Lync functionality like presence and basic chat, the full Lync client for Windows or Mac will allow additional real-time collaboration features such as video conferencing, confernece calls, and desktop sharing.
